Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft and i went to all 3 credit bureas to get the fradulent items removed from my credit but the only bereau that has removed all the negative fradulent activity is XXXX they did an investigation and it did show that it was indeed fraud. the problem is i have contacted XXXX and transunion for the past 3 months and they have not removed what XXXX has removed from my credit, i have called, and mailed them numerous times and they dont make these changes.

Complaint: The credit reporting agency is reporting a trade line on my report after several attempts to get the said trade line removed for non validated/non verified. After several attempts from the said creditor they have confirmed that the Debt will not be reported and they stated that they sent notice to the credit reporting agencies to stop reporting the alleged debt. The credit reporting agency still has the trade-line open with remarks. I have written notice from the said creditor that the trade-line would be removed. The law is very clear as to the Civil liability and the remedy available to me for “negligent noncompliance” (Section 617) if you fail to comply.
