Complaint: I have a mark on my XXXX Credit report showing that I failed to pay an "original balance" of $XXXX from XXXX XXXX. It states that the "Date Opened" (of the account) is XX/XX/2019. It is now in the hands of Southwest Credit Systems (XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX). It shows an Account # which I have never seen before.I have no accounts with XXXX XXXX. I have not had any account or accounts with them in over a decade. I was never notified of any such debt. This negative mark is hurting my credit score and it has been for several months.

Complaint: I've been a XXXX customer all my life and still am now. After living in a home for 2 years and having a 24 month contract with XXXX, I called them on 7 weeks before my move on XX/XX/2019 to schedule the close my account at end of XXXX. After finally speaking to a XXXX rep who honestly told me I was just out of my 24 month contract terms on XX/XX/2019. Since I was moving at end of XXXX, I agreed to go ala carte, no contract for the next few weeks. My billing cycle was thru the XX/XX/XXXX, so I paid in advance thru this date and that is the time the services were scheduled to be cancelled. Since out of contract is at a higher rate, I eliminated many channels to manage my bill. I immediately returned their equipment. I called XXXX many times to insure my account would be closed at end of XXXX and that I had a XXXX balance and each time the XXXX rep confirmed this information ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ). I received many emails from them saying my account was closed, asking me to come back as a customer, offering me new deals ( I have the emails ). Two months later, XXXX sent me one bill with an early termination fee of {$130.00}. I had a credit balance of {$12.00}. I made several more calls to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and thought the situation was resolved. Another two months On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from a collection agency!!! The amount owed was {$100.00} so XXXX made some deductions. I put amount was put in dispute. I have superior credit, all my life. Immediately called XXXX, put the amount in dispute, spoke to XXXX, and he said that XXXX put me in a new contract without my consent. Agent agreed that I would not have entered a new contract for 2 weeks when I was moving. XXXX agent said he would speak to his supervisor and it would be resolved. Another 2 months, and today XX/XX/XXXX, I had a fraud alert from XXXX XXXX that my account was put into collection on my account at both XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I've never had an account in collection in my life!! XXXX again!! Im currently looking into a loan and this will have a major negative impact. Also, Southwest did not list these as a disputed amount on my credit bureau. In 6 months, I've had one bill from XXXX and one phone call from the Collection agency. This is damaging my credit ; how can they put this on my credit bureau when it is in dispute and XXXX keeps telling me this is resolved. Predatory practices, harassment, 14 plus hours of my time, it's like dealing with the mafia. And I'm still a XXXX Customer, but they are charging me for early termination. Please Help Me!!!! ( I'm attaching my bill from XXXX showing I was in a 24 month contract, I lived in the home 2 years and was moving at end of XX/XX/2019 ; several emails from XXXX that my account status changed after my XXXX call - decreased channels, my account was cancelled, XXXX made offers to keep me as a customer, that I returned my equipment ; bill from collection agency ; notification from XXXX that this bill is showing as delinquent on my credit bureau report. ) All these documents were sent by me to southwest credit and received by them on XX/XX/2019. Ask XXXX to send recording of when I agreed to be put in a new contract.

Complaint: I switched home TV/Phone/wireless service from XXXX to XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. XXXX produced a bill saying that I had a past due amount. This was incorrect as they bill a month in advance and I had cancelled their service and returned their equipment. I received a letter and calls from Southwest Credit regarding the same amount of past due ( {$270.00} ). In speaking with XXXX, they acknowledge the bill is in error ( too high ) but that they can't correct this until the next billing cycle ( XX/XX/XXXX ) ... .yet Southwest Credit will not stop their debt collection activities. Crazy ... .I know XXXX is a bad customer service company but even they can't tell me the actual amount owed ( only that it's less than their bill ). What's a consumer to do?? XXXX XXXX

Complaint: i called southwest credit systems since they are reporting a balance owed from XXXX on an account closed in 2015. Southwest credit systems has never contacted me about this debt but have been reporting and damaging my credit for almost 2 years. they have an address from 2015 where they claimed they have been sending mail when I moved from that location in 2015. southwest has had more than one account for me so they had valid contact addresses before today. that is a tactic to state that they could not reach me when they are purposefully sending the communication to the wrong address also the gentleman I spoke to had my cell phone # because it is the same cell # I had when I had the account -- he actually asked me is that still a good # -- so they had it all along and they could have called to verify if by some strange chance they did not get the flipping memo. This company is using workarounds to report and damage peoples credit and they need to be stopped, I have rights that were violated by them not notifying me at the correct address and I do not recall EVER receiving a phone call from this agency. they need to make corrections to my credit report for not following the law.. also my address has been updated through the postmaster on my credit reports and public information if they bothered to check instead of sending correspondence to a 4 year old address -- and the balance is wrong

Complaint: It started after i received a collection letter from Southwest Credit Systems on XXXX, it was in reference to an unpaid XXXX XXXX bill in Illinois in the amount of {$230.00}. I immediately contacted the collection company and told them this is not my bill, and that i have not resided in Illinois since XX/XX/XXXX. Then i contacted my local police dept and filed a police report on XXXX for identity theft/fraud. Then i contacted XXXX XXXX and fought with them as they stated the name on the XXXX XXXX account was the same as mine, and that the ss # which they made me verify, was the same as mine. They explained the gentleman 's name was also the same as mine, and told me the acct was opened XXXX, and a women called and closed the XXXX acct out on XXXX. To make a long story short, XXXX XXXX verified the information that i had given to them, they also stated the acct holder had auto debit, and the bills were going to a women in Illinois, but yet they would not clear it. They said to wait 45 days for them to do the investigation, and within less then 30 days, they had already turned this acct over to the collection agency. I did receive a call from XXXX XXXX on XXXX from a man who said he had verified all the info we had given him, and that he had credited the acct, and was going to clear the remaining balance, even though he believes it should not be done, but someone told him to. I was also told they would send me an activity statement, and that they would send documentation to the collection agency that the acct was paid. As of XXXX i called Southwest Credit Agency and they have not received any documentation from XXXX XXXX to Clear this acct. On XXXX, i contacted XXXX XXXX customer service to ask once again for an activity statement, proof its paid off, and for them to notify the credit agency. They refuse to notify the collection agency that this is not our acct, i have also tried to dispute this charge in my credit bureaus and they stated they will not remove it. What happened to the saying, your innocent until proven guilty??? How do i get this off my credit, when it is not my acct. Any help you can give me in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I can not send any documentation since all i have is a collection letter. I do have notes, dates, and people i have spoken to since this has begun back on XXXX.

Complaint: XXXX/XXXX ruined my credit over a dispute. I had excellent credit until I moved and they charged me for early termination of the security system that never worked ( I had monthly conversations with XXXX in their technical support dept ). The {$1700.00} they sent to the collection agency I was told included the equipment, which was returned to their XXXX XXXX office. I have no problem paying for the cable service even though I moved, however, I refuse to pay for the additional charges they are asking for and I can not get them or the collection agency to look into the bill. I have asked for detailed statements and they refuse. I asked them to look into the complaints for this security system that never worked and they refused. They only say pay the bill or we will ruin your credit-WHICH THEY DID!! I paid the bill every single month for three years and when I moved out the new person, XXXX XXXX, ran up the bill for three months and I got stuck with that also. I notified them and they told me too bad you should have disconnected the service when you moved. I would like to get this corrected because I am trying to get a job but this is hurting me. I moved to a new state and can not get housing because of this.

They said they can switch everything over in his name and Im guessing that XXXX fail to do that. Im guessing this debt is from my old roommate cause Ive had a outstanding account with XXXX and still have XXXX to this day and every account I open. So if I owe XXXX anything how can I have a account now with them now and they havent come to me about owing {$250.00}. So either I owe XXXX nothing or this debt is from my old Roommate in XXXX XXXX. Im in regular contact with him and can have this paid for. I would also like to add that I never got a bill for anything so how am I suppose to know I owed this. I would also like to know dates that this debt was accumulated from or if equipment wasnt returned or what city the debt is from.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2015, I returned equipment to XXXX XXXX to disconnect services. They advised me I had to call a number to disconnect even though I turned my equipment in. I called that number and after 18 minutes or so and the 2nd person trying to keep me from ending service, I disconnected the call. Fast forward, XXXX continued sending me bills for service. I made 3 trips to the office to fix the problem and it was never done. I finally advised the agent ( manager was not available ) that I would begin billing them for my time. I never heard back after that until a year and half later for 4 months of service after I returned equipment. The company would not accept that the equipment was returned and a call was made to disconnect. I advised them I would not pay this, especially with knowing that they shut service off after 30 days without payment, why would they ever bill after that point. This went on for another 2 years that I would speak to representatives and managers to demand they look at activity on my account after equipment return and they declined to do so. I have now had a collection from Southwest Credit Systems placed on my credit report that is not a responsibility of mine and needs to be removed.
