Complaint: i recieved a phone from miss XXXX XXXX verifying me by my last 4 social the i asked her what this was concerning she said a student loan debt from XXXX She then proceeded to tell me that student loan debt is never over and they would have me served a summons if i did'nt comply.. i asked about the statue of limitations on private student loans and she got very angry and said she just have me served a summons and hung up on me.. Of course i became afraid she also called my job and they called me ... i was told by miss XXXX they could garnish my wages and take my taxes.. i was called from these numbers XXXX and XXXX i just want to know if this is legit and if there is a statue of limitations on private school loan from 20 years ago thanks..

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote all three ( 3 ) credit bureaus to dispute the amount owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, stated I had insurance at the time so the insurance company should have been charged. I also stated I had filed chapter XXXX and the debt may have been written off as a result of that particular filing.
In XXXX XXXX I received communications from another collection agency upon which I followed up via letter advising I had insurance and provided the insurance information for them to contact my insurance company to address the issue.
In XX/XX/XXXX I received communication from another collection agency, I contacted them and advised I had insurance and the matter should be addressed accordingly with my insurance company. I contacted XXXX XXXX and provided the information to Commonwealth Financial Systems on XX/XX/XXXX. I followed up numerous times to continuously be delayed. I then followed up the first week in XXXX again to be advised that they researched the matter and I was liable for the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX XXXX whom advised although I had been constantly communicating and disputing this debt with XXXX XXXX and the various collection agencies they hired the actual claim was not submitted until XX/XX/XXXX and based on their lack of submitting the claim within a timely manner I the consumer/insured is not liable for the debt.
This is completely opposite of what Commonwealth Financial Systems stated, they advised they researched it with my insurance company who advised since it was so old I was responsible for the debt. I have a copy of all the letters and communications sent to all the collection agencies hired on behalf of XXXX XXXX to collect this debt.
This has been very stressful and in instances caused increase in rates for financing or complete denial based on the debt being on my credit report since XXXX and not being removed. I have been dealing with this issue for almost three ( 3 ) years and there is no end in sight to reprieve.

Complaint: I have received a debt collection letter for something i never had. The state that the services done is not a state i have ever been to. the state the services being billed for is a state outside of my current state and is false. I apparently received medical care at an emergency department which i never have been to. I receive all my care at one location which is the a gov hospital. The bill sent to me for a collection amount of XXXX for services done is false.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019 Commonwealth Financial was made aware that accounts that their company held under my social security numbers were a result of identity theft and did not belong to me. Commonwealth verified this account as mine and inserted back onto my credit file however they do not belong to me. Commonwealth did not send me a letter notifying me that this account was owed and was being reported to the credit agencies. Commonwealth is continuing to report inaccurate information onto my credit file. Not only that how can Commonwealth verify anything medical with a credit agency being that I have never signed HIPPA form authorizing XXXX XXXX to have access to my patient information.

Complaint: Debt collector called trying to collect a 7 yr old debt ... refused to send me a verification of debt letter so that I can prove they are a legit company ... would not give me the company name or address which I found through research ... threatening to sue me and freeze my bank account and put lien on my truck, taxes and garnish wages ... all I asked was a lettier proving the debt and she refused and informed me Im going to be sued ... I offered to pay the debt in monthly payments but I need verification of the legitimacy of this company which they are unwilling to provide ... I should be entitled to a document to look over to prove this ... if legit Im willing to pay my debt as I should..I have rights through the Federal Fair debt collecting practice Act and they have violated my rights..first off by not sending me a verification of debt notice that would give me that chance to prove the authenticity of this company and debt ... I do not feel comfortable giving them a payment over the phone when they wont send me anything to verify who they are ... I need this resolve, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can not be supported by any evidence ( 1 ) In general No person ( company ) shall sell, transfer for consideration, or place for collection a debt that such person has been notified under section 1681c-2 of this title has resulted from identity theft.
( 2 ) Applicability The prohibitions of this subsection shall apply to all persons collecting a debt described in paragraph ( 1 ) after the date of a notification under paragraph ( 1 ).
( 3 ) Rule of construction Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to prohibit -- ( A ) The repurchase of a debt in any case in which the assignee of the debt requires such repurchase because the debt has resulted from identity theft ; ( B ) the securitization of a debt or the pledging of a portfolio of debt as collateral in connection with a borrowing ; or ( C ) the transfer of debt as a result of a merger, acquisition, purchase and assumption transaction, or transfer of substantially all of the assets of an entity.
A person that furnishes information to any consumer reporting agency shall have in place reasonable procedures to respond to any notification that it receives from a consumer reporting agency under section 1681c-2 of this title relating to information resulting from identity theft, to prevent that person from refurnishing such blocked information.

Complaint: Let 's start with this they were disputed last year and taken off to reappear this s year saying it's new debt for hosptil bills except I've had insurance for 5 years now so a there older then 5 years not new debt but again I disputed last year and won they were dropped now there back again and to top it off the same debt is repeated a few times over the law states 7 years but now since there back their stuck there 7 more years that's not cool the date are in attached. I have also read a lot of reviews on the company and they do this to so many people and the people just bend over and accept it well I will not accept these debts and if they keep showing I'll spend the XXXX XXXX they say I own and sue and go to press just saying.

This was already disputed and removed from my credit report, which was reported by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX amount of XXXX. The date was XXXX of 2013. My dispute is I have insurance and am not aware of the time frame Im seeing in my credit report. It also says date of first delinquent is XX/XX/13.
